Our Last Meeting Before Tết in 2 Parts
In the first part of our meeting, Andrea will lead a live demonstration using AI to convert a line drawing to a more sophisticated AI-generated picture.
She will use Chi’s MicroSoft Paint line drawing from last week, a stick man outside celebrating the first snowfall of the season.
Andrea’s conversion to an AI-generated picture will be a live session where she explains the process she uses. Andrea’s AI tool is ChatGPT.
In the second part of our meeting, presenters will share their memories, thoughts, videos, photos, of a fireworks show—any fireworks show, not just one from Tết.
You can write a story about fireworks, write a story where fireworks would be the main character as in a cartoon where inanimate things have human personalities. For example, the fireworks might be a character in a story about light.
One day, the fireworks, named Star, went to the grand mountain to ask the sage what her purpose in life is.
The sage asked Star if something could have a purpose that was not in its nature.
The answer, of course, is that the purpose of anything is in accord with its nature;
Because the world is full of things with different natures, the world is full of things, with a different purpose from one to the next for the whole lot!
When Star discovered her nature was to bring beauty and light, she set out on a quest to find the purpose for her beauty and light. Because nature and purpose work hand-in-hand!
Star then had a series of adventures with interesting characters of the grand mountain and the valley below until she finally found herself full of the knowledge that her beauty and light would express its purpose on the stroke of midnight on Tết.
Delighted, she returned to her village to spread the news about her upcoming performance. After everyone had been told, Star smiled happily and waited for the very beginning of Tết to arrive!
